About this deal

Unfortunately for Miles, there’s an invisible antagonist who seems to think he or she will get rich if those heirs disappear. Another success from one of my favourite authors in the very crowded arena of thrillers, mysteries, and police procedurals. I've read Take Your Breath Away and A Noise Downstairs which had their strengths, but kinda fell apart at the end and landed in 3-star territory. Tech millionaire Miles Cookson has more money than he can ever spend, and everything he could dream of--except time.

A pacy rollercoaster of a ride … in true Linwood style, the story gains momentum until you literally can’t turn the pages quick enough … this book has everything! But there is humor too and I found some favorite characters in a few of the bit players, especially Mile's limo driver Charice. Barclay has a knack for turning news stories or social trends into rambunctious black-comedy thrillers full of sharply drawn fools and knaves. Linwood Barclay is the New York Times bestselling author of numerous previous novels and two thrillers for children.Linwood Barclay's novels - as intelligent as Michael Connelly's, as compelling as Harlan Coben's - never fail to astonish.

Nevertheless, Chloe is indefatigable and her valiant spunkiness combined with her common sense makes her incredibly charismatic - I was instantly attached to her character. Someone else is obviously working from the same list of names and is determined to eliminate them and to erase every possible speck of their biological DNA. This book started with a prologue following Todd, 21, told in the third person point of view, as he tried to swindle money out of an elderly over the phone. What’s even more baffling is that the homes in which these people live have been scribbled clean, as though any trace of them could prove troubling. This was done at a point in his life when he was desperate to obtain the necessary funds for creating his company - the one which ultimately propelled him into a millionaire. The tension (and body count) rises as the story breezes its way to an ultimately satisfying - slightly cheesy - epilogue. He wrote the screenplay adaptation for his novel Never Saw it Coming and his book The Accident has been made into a TV series in France. If you enjoy crime fiction, mystery, and serial-killer-themed books, you’ll probably enjoy Find You First. I can prescribe tetrabenazine, which will help with your symptoms when they become more pronounced, but it’s not a cure.
