About this deal

For the first instalment I was gripped from start to finish, having an emotionally detached villain as the MMC was so original. no offence to both killianglyn, but am i really supposed to care about glyn crying over her dead bestie and killian detailing how he cut up mice when annika is the cutest little ballerina who just wants creigh to talk to her? Glyndon is English, comes from a loving family of artists and majors in art as well, however, her relationship with art is quite toxic since she cannot stop comparing herself to her brothers and her mother. I kind of felt like a cougar for lusting after Jeremy because I loved him as a cute baby boy but ughhhh, what was I supposed to do? Don’t you think this chap is shameless enough to show his face in your house after he broke Glyndon’s heart?

Only this sentence is enough to tell you that this is my guilty pleasure so please leave me alone okay? I love a good dark romance as well as the twisted, dark, alpha, anti heroes that go along with them. I don’t trust you not to come after my food again, so you have to either stay in this position or leave. Yes, there are a few support characters and our female lead is also not fond of violence and whatnot but they are not enough to stop things from happening.anywhoosers, killian may have forced glyndon to give him a blowie but actually, after that he was pretty much obsessed with glyn instantly, and treated her like a princess? This book is told in multiple points of view, mainly in Glyndon’s, but there are plenty of chapters in Killian’s point of view as well. The immortal rocks are unassuming witnesses of crimson blood, lost life—and an all-encompassing sense of grief. That first chapter had me howling with how edgy and dramatic it endeavoured to appear: crashing waves, bloody images rolling with the wrecking force of a hurricane, haunting scratch of metal and deadly water.

She tries to get better and fights with this mental state but she is beaten by her own mind and she is a decent, somewhat relatable character. Maybe it's explained later in the book, but her being Rai's sister was a big secret and an important plot in their duets. He openly admits to wanting to rip things-- both animals and people -- apart and see what they look like underneath the skin.

And I love dark romance books; seriously, I do, but I prefer connection, understanding, and accepting mistakes a little more, which is seriously hard to find in these books! A threatening presence in her life, she wanted answers to a death which plagued her and she was certain he was at the bottom of it. she is already the moment, and if rk doesn't give her a book then i will burn the RKCU to the GROUND!

and another criticism I listened to the audiobook and it is incredible without a doubt but I hated the mulger doing the man's voice and vice versa. Her blonde hair is gathered in a long ponytail with a fuck ton of ribbons that match the ones on her black dress, boots, and bag. This is definitely a five out of five on the dark romance scale, the scenes being graphic, there is a great deal of unkindness, force, and mind games; it is a far cry from a traditional lovers tale with a perfectly happy ending. I won’t go into the triggers and all the bad things that Killian does, but to say that there are many. The story was actually decent, even though the male main character was incredibly brutal and harsh, I would go as far as to say too much so, and I found the female protagonist too forgiving and meek. killian exhibited all the signs but tell me why i still didn't believe in it 🤣😭 there must be something wrong in my brain for me to actually think killian is the most softest and tamest psycho i have ever read about. what i didnt like was the relationship glyn and her parents i thought they showed up very little i expected more from levy and astrid.
