About this deal

I tend to use my other firm favorite TheBalm Mary-Lou Manizer for looks that are cool, silvery or pink in nature.

She packs a lot of good, practical info into her videos, and she’s bubbly, friendly and easy to understand. So this is exactly the same formula we know and love, but dressed up in extra sparkle for this special collection. As you can see by the swatches Becca Opal is slightly more golden and darker than Becca Champagne Pop that has peachy undertones. The 8g baked highlighter will last you a long time and I would strongly recommend it, it's definitely one I will be reaching for often. The powders contain something BECCA refers to as “ultra-fine luminescent pearls,” which I think is fancy talk for “light reflecting and refracting particles,” as well as “multi-toned pigment pearls,” which are supposed to adjust to the natural undertones in your skin. Much like thousands of other businesses, the 20-year-old Australian company was hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic, and after sharing a statement about its closing via social media, fans of the brand rushed to load up on some of its bestselling products for what may be the last time. It's too perfect, only thing is it's slightly too golden for inner corners in my personal opinion so I have to use my mac lightscapade as well.

I only recently discovered Jaclyn a few months ago, but I love her style and personality and her SnapChats. BECCA’s lip gloss contain a plumping peptide and work to volumise the lips as well as deliver a high shine. The shimmering skin perfector comes in a round mirrored compact in powder form but it’s very soft and buttery – it almost has a creamy texture to it. It's so intense that you have to learn how not to overdo it because YOU WILL OVER DO IT the first time you use it. May Contain/Peut Contenir [+/-]: CI 77891 (Titanium Dioxide), CI 77491/77492/77499 (Iron Oxides), CI 77742 (Manganese Violet), CI 75470 (Carmine).

I didn’t experience fall out on the face since my skin was well prepped with a layer of serum, moisturizer and foundation. Sweep onto the high points of the cheeks, creating a “C” shape as you move up toward the temple and brow bone. The concept behind this shade is that it suits a huge range of skin tones, from the fairest skin (like me) to the darkest skin.

If you want a more subtle glow and a highlighter that you can use to mix with your foundation the Shimmering Skin Perfectors are awesome for that. It definitely shows up on your face, but it blends really well and is slightly less intimidating than it looks. The brand's unique Skin Perfector™ formula features a unique blend of pigments and liquids, creating a creamy, lightweight feel while imparting a natural-looking, radiant finish. I’d been dying to try Champagne Pop, a collab with makeup artist and YouTube personality Jaclyn Hill, after reading all the reviews and seeing it used in countless tutorials, but of course it was sold out—and had been for weeks.

I'd consider Mary Lou to be still a little more universal than Champagne Pop as it has less color to it. Opal definitely has more pink tones, which blends better with my pink blushes, while Champagne Pop has that peachy undertone that’s universally flattering on all skin tones.
