About this deal

I’d be remiss if I didn’t miss that two of my favorite heroes show up here in the best ways as daddies. I WAS NOT READY FOR DADDY ADRIAN, SOMEONE HOLD ME. These dads bring out their own psycho muscles in ways both hella entertaining and nostalgic. We have the perfect infusion of characters we already love- and the secondary cast shows up in great ways. You’ll love some characters more, dislike others more, and have your curiosity piqued more about others. All I can say is that the rest of this series is going to be a wild ride, and I’m here for every minute of it. I'll confess that I didn't like seeing her in the beginning in love with Landon, because I knew it wasn't her, and at the end of the book I understood that she is a mechanism for her to forget something.

Y'all---we get some grovel! It's not as much as I would've liked, but I do love me a good grovel moment. I loved finally meeting Maya, she has a nicole / silver vibe and I loved it, I already want her book. I had countless reactions reading this book, yes I screamed, I cried, I got angry, I smiled so much. I'm in love with Cecily, I already loved her mother but now I love her too she's a character just the way I like her, her heart is beautiful the way she takes care of her friends it was so beautiful to see how Jeremy was realizing all her qualities Eli and Ava, they are my favorite and most expected couple. I need them, my God, to know what happened, I missed Eli.I feel like with each story it just goes deeper and deeper on the heaviness of the plot and the things they each battle with. This was my favourite in the series so far for sure. AND by far my favourite narrators as well! Their voices were perfectly cast for these characters and it was such an enjoyable experience to listen to. I was obsessed with Jeremy and Cecily the entire way through the book. I was excited to read their story from the glimpses we had gotten of the characters as individuals and how they interacted with in each other, in the previous books. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint! Jeremy in a sense sees his mom in her but not in a weird creepy way. She is guarded too due to past traum@ and he sees right thru her walls and helps her overcome the traum@ she's dealt with and gives her the safe space she's always needed and wanted.

I love how NEXT LEVEL stalker Jeremy became. Is it toxic? Absolutely. Does that stop me from loving it in my romance reads? Absolutely NOT. Rina Kent's books happen in the same world, but with a slightly different timeline and therefore, many characters pop across different books. her heart is beautiful the way she takes care of her friends it was so beautiful to see how jeremy was realizing all her qualities I wasn't impressed by the audio either as I didn't like the female narrator - she sounded so whingey, where was Shane? Furthermore, for a Russian mobster book to only hear a Russian accent an hour from the end seems rather lazy! 🤔 As always Rina Kent just knows how to write a brutal, dark, possessive and obsessive hero... Jeremy was all those things. What I really loved about him, was how he started softening for Cecily bit by bit and started realising that he didn't always have to hold the burdens and responsibilities he has inside. He opened up to Cecily and there were so many amazing scenes. The bathing and cooking scenes were simply the best. The beginning of the book already took my breath away, I love books that start very well, that's a very positive point. I can’t help feeling that something went awry in the whole situation. Why would he have wiped me clean, massaged my sore pussy, and touched me so tenderly just so he’d nearly choke me to death after? I confess that I didn't like seeing her in the beginning in love with Landon, because I knew it wasn't her, and at the end of the book I understood that it was a mechanism for her to forget something.

Legacy of Gods Series by Rina Kent - Goodreads

Jeremy's protectiveness towards Cecily is so beautiful to see that he takes care of her, and she takes care of him too. The way these characters just bring out the best in each other and help each other battle their dem0ns and face them head-on...swooon 💗💗💗I like when the protagonists don't fall in love at first sight and I love to see their love being built, that's what happened with jeremy and celicy It's such a rewarding experience for me as a reader to love a universe so much and get to know the characters being in their heads. I don't know if this author has ever been to Brighton but it didn't reflect any part that I am aware of. Research does matter. Also consistency - if a dress is ripped off, then you can't very well smooth it down again, or have I been doing something wrong these years? I'm in love with Cecily, I already loved her mother but now I love her too she's a character the way I like it, It’s not like he was courting me for a relationship or offering me some form of a fairy tale. It was a simple arrangement to satisfy both our needs, and I have no right to feel so hurt about it.

God of Wrath by Rina Kent | Waterstones

Jeremy oh my god so hot , I feel a connection to him as I have watched him grow up since his parents book My chest still hurts thinking about how he disappeared into the night without a word. Not even a note or a text. To say that I'm obsessed with this series would be an understatement. There's so much to love: the college setting, the accents (I frigging love listening to books with different accents!), the alphahole males, and SO MUCH STEAM. While I’m in love with Jeremy, I anticipated (and hoped) he’d be exactly how I thought he’d be. It’s Cecily that’s the real revelation. She’s not at all what she appears to be- in fact what many of friends assume her to be. Girl has buried parts of herself so deep, it’s going to take a true psycho to claw it out of her. I related so intensely to the vulnerable parts of this character- how she armors herself with intellect and stoicism, in caretaking for others. How she longs for something she fears she’ll never have. Her fears, her insecurities, her desperation for connection. Her heart just wants to be tethered, and it’s caused her to make mistakes and hide herself. She’s a devastatingly beautiful heroine. And I FLOVE Cecily's heart and soul so much- she’s so kind and good at her core. OF COURSE, this book wasn't all sunshine and rainbows but that's the best thing about dark romance. it's twisted and heart wrenching and it makes the HEA so much better!Teddy Hamilton and Zara Hampton-Brown narrate this audiobook. This is the first time I've heard them paired together, and they both complimented each other so well. Teddy conveyed Jeremy's arrogant, vengeful, and protective persona perfectly. Plus, Zara's voice delicate melodic voice added just the right touch of curious innocence to Cecily's character. The chemistry between these two is absolutely blazing HOT! Shane East and Jason Clarke reprise their roles as Xander and Adrian.(Russian accent included) But here’s the thing—Jeremy isn’t impulsive. I know he plots things to a fault, has a methodical character, and wouldn’t have turned murderous on me just because it was on the spur of the moment. I have to confess that I have no idea why authors like to romanticise r@pe and for anyone who has been in this terrible situation, they wouldn't wish it on their worst enemy, but everyone to their own choice. It ain't mine and I won't be reading this author again. The way I can't get enough of these and while Killian is deff a fav and in my top 5, I gotta say I'm love with Jeremy and his level of crazy ❤️‍🔥
